Visual Inspection

Visual Inspection is the oldest and most reliable method of inspection. VT requires no equipment except the naked eye of a trained and qualified inspector. VT can be used for internal and external surface inspection of a variety of equipment types, including storage tanks, pressure vessels, piping, etc. Visual inspection is simple and compared to other methods, it is far more cost effective.  

Types of Certified Visual Inspectors:

API-510 – Authorized Pressure Vessel Inspector

API-570 – Authorized Piping Inspector

API-653 – Authorized Tank Inspector

Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
